Enniskerry: GAA action - The junior team had a good win over Knockananna on a score 2-10 to 0-9. Goals from Colm Nolan and Gavin Barton together with the points from Colm Gavin Rhyl Cope Alan Acres paved the way for another win.

Supporting Wicklow Hospice
Wicklow Hospice Beanies/woolly hats are available to buy in the Village Shop, Enniskerry, for €10. In a range of colours, they are warm and comfy. All proceeds go to the Wicklow Hospice. Community Policing Clinic

Scrap Metal Day
Thank you to anyone in the community who got rid of their unwanted scrap in our recent fundraiser for the Brockagh Resource Centre, we raised €1,145.00.

Victoria Keller, accompanist, with Dr Daniel Gordon, director, will be giving a free performance in the Brockagh Resource Centre, Laragh on Tuesday, May 14. Show starting at 11.30 a.m. in St Kevin's church Laragh.
A clean-up around the area will be on May 7 and we welcome any helpers to meet opposite Lynhams at 7 p.m. The group is encouraging biodiversity in the area. Native trees were planted by the students of Tiny Feet in front of the Brockagh Resource Centre last week. Country Market/Car boot sales
We have now moved to the second Sunday of the month. Encouraging local and non-local producers of plants, vegetables, crafts etc. Our next event will be on Sunday, May 12, open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Bargains on practically anything from household items to garden additions, and even vintage or antique treasures. Vans must be booked in. Please pre-book indoor spaces early. Angelic Workshops 2019

Free Computer Course
A free five-week digital skills computer course are run thoughout the year, two hours one day a week. Topics covered include online banking, apps, online government services, email, shopping online, photographs, podcasts, TV players, social media and much more. Tuesdays mornings 10.30 - midday at the Brockagh Centre, parents, babies and toddlers get together, have lots of fun weeks with art and crafts and make new friends. It is also a great way to meet and socialize with parents, especially if you are new to the area. Contact us at 0404 45600 at the centre for more information.
Children, teens and adults will enjoy Taekwon-Do, a Korean art of self-defence. Benefits include improving confidence, respect, discipline, awareness, concentration, channeling aggression, balance, coordination, speed, reactions, fitness and health.
