Football Club Notes

Our Intermediate team got the first win the championship when they beat Stratford on Friday last in Dunlavin. A sew positional changes to the team made a big especially at midfield where Seán Brannigan and John Hanbidge won the battle in that area. Alan Daly had his shooting boots on and finished top scorer, Liam Monaghan 0-2, L Daly and O'Adler with a point each were our target men. We led 3-4 to nine points at half time. If we can beat Dunlavin and Rathnew we have a chance at a semi-final spot.

Our junior game fixed for last Thursday failed to take place, so our next game will be the championship game against Blessington at a place and time to be decided.

There was no lotto winner last week. R Randa c/o Joe Conron matched three and won €200. Sinéad Doyle won the seller's prize. The jackpot is now €8,700.
