Kilcoole resident Olga DeVignat is just back from her native Lithuania, where she appeared on TV to talk about winning Mrs. Ireland 2014.
'I had a great experience as I had never done anything like that before and also it was nice to see some of my family,' said Olga, who runs the Village Stores in Killincarrig alongside her husband Mark.
Olga won the title 'Mrs. Ireland 2014' back in January and has been overwhelmed with the support she has received from the people of her local community.
She said that her husband has been hugely supportive and her son Lucas really enjoys his mum's endeavours in pageantry.
One of the aspects of Olga's love of modelling has been creating her own fashion designs.
She is also involved with the prestigious 'Top Model UK' competition in the over 25s category, with just a few more weeks to go to the finals.
This is her second year taking part and she will be raising money for the charity Children with Cancer.
Her schedule is very busy, with balancing her work, motherhood and flying over the UK for rehearsals.
The programme she appeared on in Lithuania was called 'My Home Is Where My Heart Is' and she spoke about her life in Ireland as well as winning the competition.
The Top Model finals take place on the weekend of April 4 and 5 with a public vote award to show support for each contestant and raise money for charity.
The profits from the voting will go to Children with Cancer.
