Toastie festival back at Harbour Bar
Huge crowds flocked to the first ever Toastie Festival at The Harbour Bar in Bray last year so its back, with an even bigger O'Toole Toastie Van.
From Friday, November 2, to Sunday, November 4, top class toasties will be on the menu, including the classic ham, cheese, onion and tomato toastie, as well as a selection of more adventurous recipes.
In the name of friendly rivalry, there's a competition for local businesses to enter to win the coveted 'Golden Toastie'. With vegetarian options, gluten-free options, cheesy sides, all dogs welcome and up appearance from 'Topped Toast', the food market stall bringing healthy topped toast from down under, The O'Toole Toastie Van will have the hatch up and serving something for every toastie aficionado, young and old and canine.
On the eve of the festival, there's a night too 'gouda' to miss - a cheesy pop set from Sing-Along-Social, including Mariah, Shania, Peter Andre, B*Witched - the whole gang. The pop music singing event will take place upstairs in the Harbour on Thursday, November 1 at 8 p.m.
