Chef Catherine Fulvio appears on NBC's hit 'Today Show'
WICKLOW GIRL Catherine Fulvio, has just landed herself two more slots on one of the top morning shows in the States. Following her debut on NBC's Today Show in March 2009 when she appeared on the St. Patrick's Day special live from Powerscourt Gardens, Catherine was personally invited over to the Big Apple to introduce her new cookbook to her audience on the other side of the Atlantic.
Last Thursday, Catherine made her second appearance alongside Natalie Morales on the popular NBC Today Show where she demonstrated some Italian favourites with an Irish twist. 'It went really well,' says Catherine who is delighted to announce that she has in fact been invited back to New York to do two more slots on the popular morning show next March, around St. Patrick's Day time.
Catherine's feet have barely touched the ground in recent weeks with live demonstrations on national TV and around the country as well as hosting Catherine's Christmas Kitchen at the Taste of Christmas before jetting off the to U.S. Her first TV series, 'Catherine's Italian Kitchen' is on the BBC Food Channel while the second series 'Catherine's Roman Holiday' is starting on it in the spring and has already been shown in New Zealand, France, Brazil and Australia.
Things are good for this Wicklow wonder-woman and she has great plans for the year ahead; she has just got the go ahead from RTE for a third TV series and is already working on her second book not to mention running the award winning Ballyknocken House and Cookery School.
Meanwhile if you are looking for a cookbook to give this Christmas Catherine's first book, 'Catherine's Italian Kitchen' is available in all good book stores.
