Guests enjoyed an enchanting night of music at Whale Theatre recently with 'Raising the Roof' for Karigiri Hospital in South India.

Entertainer Reuben Evans introduced a series of artists who performed a varied selection.

Singers included Darren Mooney, Greystones Presbyterian Choir, Gary and Deborah McDowell, Voices of Bray Community Choir and many others.

Songs included Rolling in the Deep, All I Want, La Donna e Mobile, She Moved Through the Fair, and the finale - Time to Say Goodbye.

Accompanying musicians on the evening were Susan McCormick, Gary McDowell and Jimmy Meldon.

The entertaining and inspirational night showcased so much local talent, all under the guidance of musical director Gary McDowal.

Funds raised will go towards a new outpatient department at Karigiri Hospital.

The concert was a fundraiser for the Leprosy Mission, an organisation which aims to eradicate leprosy from the world and supports research and training at hospitals like Karigiri.
