The Cliff Walk

The Cliff Walk between Bray and Greystones will remain closed during the current phase of the reopening of the country.

Bray seafront public toilets will also remain closed, as well Dr Ryan Park in Greystones, outdoor gyms and council-owned playgrounds.

While other public amenities are being re-opened at this time, there are concerns that social distancing of two metres would not be possible in these particular areas.

People are still to stay within 5km of home, with some exceptions for work and other essential reasons.

Public car parks re-opened on Monday around the area.

Parking restrictions have remained in place, however, at Strand Road in Bray, and Sea Road in Kilcoole at the train station,

These new measures came in to effect on Monday, May 18 and this first phase is expected to last approximately three weeks.

The council liased with gardai, the OPW, Coillte and the National Parks and Wildlife service.
