There was great excitement in Carlingford on Wednesday last when the local St. Oliver's primary school children signed up for the children's chorus of the Pantomime, Cinderella. We would now like any adults interested in forming an adult chorus to meet in The Foy Centre on this coming Friday 4th October at 7 p.m.

It emerged some weeks ago that a Pantomime was being organised for Carlingford for the Foy Centre this Christmas. At that stage Teresa McKevitt had already put pen to paper and was writing a script for the popular panto, Cinderella. Teresa is steeped in this style of entertainment and grew up with this tradition with her family in Cork. She played Cinderella as a teenager and was Little Red Riding Hood as a 6 year old.

Hopefully it will be something to look forward to over the Christmas period and greatly add to the Christmas entertainment in the village and the wider peninsula!
