Top soccer school De La Salle College have forged a new partnership with Alan Sweeney Financial Services (trading as EBS Dundalk) who sponsored the latest soccer kit for the school's talented young players.

Since the foundation, in 1986, of the FAI Schools North East League competitions, covering Louth, Meath & north Dublin, De La Salle College have amassed a mighty 20 league titles across four age groups, in addition to one Leinster Cup, one Leinster Shield and four Leinster League titles, more than any other school in the region. They also rank amongst the top five most successful schools in the province!

In the current season, students following in the footsteps of Stephen Staunton, Alan O'Hare and recent addition to the Ireland Senior Squad Jimmy Dunne, have qualified for league semi-finals at U-19 & U-15 level, with the First Year competition concluding after Christmas.

The kit sponsored by EBS is a bespoke design created by local kit suppliers CX+ Sport. The colours chosen, claret and blue, hark back to the traditional De La Salle Dundalk colours, worn by such luminaries as David McGeough (ex-Stoke City), Paddy Keenan (GAA All Star), Derek Delany (ex-Ipswich Town), Paddy Quinn (ex-Livingston), Ryan Markey (ex-Nottingham Forest) & Stephen McDonnell (ex-Celtic).

All going to schedule, students and staff hope that the kit will be making an appearance at Oriel Park this season.
