Dundalk's season is tripping light fantastic

This season will go down as a memorable one in the annals of Dundalk Rugby Club whatever happens in the coming weeks of the season.

The team had already lifted the All Ireland Junior Cup earlier on and last Saturday they travelled to Enniscorthy for their final league match of the season.

The home side could have denied Dundalk the title but the men from the Mill Road could afford to lose by a slim margin and still take home the bacon and that's what they did, with the seconds adding to the celebrations.

A Provincial Towns Cup quarter final and the round robin with the other provincial winners are next up for Dundalk.

Never mind, Ireland's quest for Grand Slam glory, Dundalk are chasing a similar bounty.
