Lorraine's party one of the best as she turns 21
On Saturday night I headed for the Lilywhite Lounge where a 21st birthday party was being held for Lorraine Ward from Drive One and there to make sure she had a lovely night were her parents Sheila and Seamus, brothers Seamus Jnr, Stephen and David, granny Teresa Rogan from Pearse Park and boyfriend Callum Adams from Point Road along with a huge collection of family and friends.
I wasn't too long in the door when I met up with Lorraine who was looking exceptionally well and is in her 2nd year in the DkIT where she is studying Creative Media and she wanted to thank everyone for coming and was really looking forward to the party.
I then headed over for a chat with my old mate Anna Harper from Ashling Park who was with her sister Tina Hayden from Barton Park who are both aunts of Lorraine's and wanted to wish her a very happy 21st as did Cliona Cassidy from Ashling Park who was with Lorraine's brother Anthony and they were joined by Tina's husband John as well as Ciara McCann and Graham Kavanagh both from Dublin who said that Graham is Lorraine's cousin and they were definitely up for making the best of the night.
Making my way over to another table I then got a word with godmother Anne Morrissey from Muirhevnamor who told me she was with her daughter Niamh and assured me it was going to be a fantastic party.
After this I headed for another table where I caught up with aunty Margaret Brady from The Laurels who was with her daughter Patricia and her main man Marty Kane from Bessbrook who were there to party the night away.
Not too far away I then got a word with Lorraine's brother Seamus Jnr. from Drive One who was with cousin Kevin Ward from Maple Close and uncle Brian Ward from Cypress Gardens who assured me it was going to be a wild night for certain.
Next I met up with Marie Dargle from Woodville Manor who was with Lorraine's brother Stephen and when I met her she was having a laugh with Claire Preston from Waterville Crescent and Ciara Moloney from Dublin Road who is with Lorraine's brother Seamus Jnr and the ladies told me the crack was only just getting going.
After this I caught up with the man on his best behaviour Callum Adams from Point Road who was with his main man for mischief Darren Flynn from Drive 2 who told me the craic hadn't even started to get going yet and I should check back with them later on.
At an adjacent table I then got talking to James Morrissey from Muirhevnamor who was having a laugh with Gordon McDonagh from Blackrock and his main woman Emma Carolan from Doolargy Avenue who were up for making a night of it with cousin Aidan Rogan and Anton Webb both from Muirhevnamor who all wanted to wish Lorraine a very happy birthday.
Meanwhile up at the bar I got a word with Lorraine's dad Seamus and brothers David and Stephen who told me that their dad would be leading the charge when the party really kicked off.
After this I headed for a quick word with Therese Morrissey from Muirhevnamor who was with Catherine Mulligan also from Muirhevnamor who wanted to wish their friend a very happy birthday and they hoped she had a fantastic time.
Meanwhile up near the bar I caught up with Vanessa McCrink from Greenacres and uncle Thomas Ward from Fatima who wanted to wish her all the best on her big night.
After this I got a word with Moninne King from St. Alphonsus Road who was just in and was joined by Natasha and Joy Guest from Avenue Road and Lillian Kavanagh from Dalkey who told me the crack was already great and getting better by the minute.
