Fibromyalgia Support Group

DUNDALK Fibromyalgia Support Group are holding their next meeting on Wednesday February 5th at 7:30pm in Community Offices, Ramparts, Dundalk.

There will be a talk on Healthy Eating and if changing your diet can help you cope with Fibromyalgia. To book your place please call Anne 087 9750899, as places are limited, admission €5.

This meeting is not just confined to those who have Fibromyalgia but also Arthritis, Chronic Fatigue, or those who just want to find out about healthy eating.

All welcome, bring a friend.


A talk on the Wild Bogs of Ireland will be given by Nuala Madigan, Education Officer Irish Peatland Conservation Council, in the Spirit Store, George's Quay, Dundalk on Monday February 3rd at 8pm.

Boglands are one of Ireland's wild landscapes. They are thousands of years old often being described as living history books and are home to a great diversity of wildlife.

This talk will explore peatlands from their formation through to their modern uses and threats with particular attention to their diversity of species they support. Entry is free and all are welcome.


Young adults and others are invited to Taize Prayer around the Cross in candle light on Friday February 7th in Bethany, 34 Point Road, Dundalk from 8.30pm to 9.30pm, vollowed by a cuppa.


DUNDALK Active Retirement organiser Mary Conlon hopes to run a bus to a performance of 'Stones In Their Pockets' in the Gaeity Theatre at the beginning of March.

Places may be booked at the meeting in Carroll Mead Hall Pearse Park on Monday afternoons.
