Pier jump in memory of Diarmuid

At least a hundred people are expected to jump of the pier at Gyles Quay this Tuesday morning (1st) in a charity fund raiser in memory of popular local man Diarmuid MacArtain from Maddoxland, Riverstown, who died on November 16th, aged 31 years.

First into the water will be his partner of three and a half years, Rebecca Wilson, who has organised the event in his memory.

Rebecca says she is expecting at least 100 people to join her at 11am, including Diarmuid's friends from school, college and the Pats, with many travelling long distances. Refreshments will be available afterwards in Ferguson's Bar.

Donations can be made via PayPal to diarmuidsmemory@gmail.
