Pilgrimage to Knock bookings - The annual Cursillo Pilgrimage to Knock will take place this year on Saturday, September 7th.

Organisers wish to advise that a bus will be leaving St Patrick's Cathedral at 8.00am.

The fare for the trip will cost €20.

Water safety classes return

Water Safety Ireland's Pool Water Safety Classes will return Dundalk in the coming weeks.

The classes are set to start back at Aura Leisure Centre swimming pool on the St Alphonsus Road on Monday September 9th from 7pm to 8pm for ages 11 years and upwards.

Service station robbery

Gardai are investigating an incident at a Dundalk service station where a masked man held staff up

The incident at Maxol Townparks service station on the Castletown Road saw the man produce a knife. He demanded money from staff during the frightening incident which took place on Monday last, August 5th at 8pm.

The culprit made off on foot with €400 in cash.
