Louth

Church fire

There was deep concern and consternation in the parish last Friday when the news went round that there was a fire in the Chapel in Louth. Memories of 2003 came flooding back but thankfully this fire wasn't on the same scale as the previous one although damage is severe enough. Masses thankfully and other ceremonies will be able to go ahead as planned. Fr. Mc. Ardle thanked everyone who helped get the Church prepared and cleaned up in time for week end Masses. Hopefully repairs will not take too long.
