Cars and Coffee

Cars and Coffee - Cars and Coffee North East's first meet of 2019 takes place on Sunday January 6th at 9.30am at DKIT Dundalk. (Entrance beside the Crowne Plaza Hotel)

Cars and Coffee is where lovers of all types of cars congregate to look at an eclectic mix of classic and vintage cars, newer sports cars and everything in between all the while having a nice cup of coffee and chatting with like minded car enthusiasts.

Everybody is welcome to attend, whether they are bringing a new sports car or a 25 year old Datsun.

A €2 donation per car to offset the costs of running the event would be greatly appreciated.

Free Birdwatch Ireland talk

Brian Burke of Birdwatch Ireland will give an illustrated talk on the water birds of Ireland Monday January 7th at 8pm at the Spirit Store Dundalk Docks.

This will focus on waders, wildfowl and gulls, behaviour, identification and the results of recent surveys.

Brickx Club

The Ravensdale New Year Brickx Club camp runs over two days on Thursday January 3 and Friday January 4 from 10am to 1pm and promises lots of Lego, themes, ideas, encouraging creativity, problem solving and social skills. Medjugorje 2019

Pilgrimage to Medjugorje dates for the coming year are May 28th for seven nights accompanied by Father Des Brannigan and September 3rd accompanied by Father Oliver Brannigan. There's a €50 saving if deposit is paid by February 7th 2019.

Active Retirement meeting

Dundalk Active Retirement Association will meet 2.30pm Monday January 7th in Carroll Mead Hall ,Pearse Park .

The Association had a very successful year with plenty of exercise physical and mental.

They had visiting speakers, charity afternoons and short holidays. The choir entertained local Nursing Homes before Christmas and honoured Mary Fox our founding member at the 20 year lunch.
