Sparkle Project offering courses for local women

The Sparkle Project is an exciting new initiative offering free courses for women in Muirhevnamor and Cox's Demesne.

Thanks to funding from Louth Leader Partnership and the International Fund for Ireland, the Sparkle Project will allow women to develop new personal and creative skills over the course of twelve weeks.

The classes will centre on personal development with sessions in stress management, skills for life and home budgeting, as well as the opportunity to learn new skills in the areas of arts and crafts, sewing and dressmaking, IT and photography, and printmaking.

The personal development side of the course will be delivered in the Redeemer Resource Centre as well as Ait na Daoine and Muirhevnamor Community Centre while the arts and crafts courses will take place in The Creative Spark.

The classes will take place one day a week from 9.30 a.m. to 3 p.m. with refreshments and light lunch provided.

The course in Muirhevnamor starts on Wednesday, March 12, while the course in Cox's Demesne gets underway on Thursday, March 13.

A limited number of places are available so early booking is advisable.
