Louth entries for 'Bloom' postcard

Bord Bia's Bloom festival are inviting entries from Louth for the popular 'Postcard Garden' category.

With planning more than underway, Bloom is now calling for Louth people to submit entries for the popular Postcard Garden category.

Postcard Gardens offer passionate, amateur gardeners, garden clubs, community and GIY groups a chance to showcase their talents to over 100,000 visitors attending the event.

The Bloom Postcard Gardens consist of small but perfectly formed 3m x 2m plots which can be used to represent club locality or a special person or character from a community.

Kerrie Gardiner, Bloom Show Garden Manager said, 'The postcard gardens bring great energy to Bloom. They are a great way to showcase the various skills of the participants, and are a hugely popular part of the event every year.'

The Postcard Garden application form can be downloaded from BloominthePark.com and the closing date to apply is March 1st 2019.
