Trad acts compete for Michigan slot

Catch some of the country's top traditional musicians in action in The Spirit Store on Saturday night as they compete for an exciting array of prices offered by The Michigan Irish Music Initiative (MIMI). This competition is organised under the auspices of the Michigan Irish Music Festival in association with the Dundalk Institute of Technology (DkIT) and the Spirit Store.

The winning group will get the opportunity to perform on the main stage of the Michigan Irish Music Festival 2018, following in the footsteps of Altan, Andy Irvine, Tommy Makem, We Banjo 3, Slide and Solas to name a few…). Flights, accommodation and meals included in this fantastic prize. The runners-up will get €1,000 with €500 for the third placed group.
