There's a great Stretch in The Basement
'Stretch,' featuring work by artists who took part in the Creative Spark Residency Programme residency over the past year, is currently on display in The Basement Gallery and is well worth a visit.
Dundalk artist Michael Stafford along with Thomas Brezing (Dublin); Olga Danilova (Russia); Chiara Leto and Giulia Vetri (Italy) and Hazel Egan (Dublin) were involved in all aspects of Creative Spark's community relations programme. They used the facilities available to develop their work which is being shown alongside that of members of the print studio.
The residency programme, which is supported by Create Louth, is now in its third year and will run in 2018.
The exhibition was officially opened by Louth Arts Officer Brian Harten and runs until November 4.
