The O'Connor family in concert

Having played a sold out concert at the Fleadh Cheoil in Drogheda, the incredibly talented O'Connor family are getting together for a very special home coming concert on Friday December 28 in An Táin Arts Centre.

Gerry, regarded as one of Ireland's best fiddle players, says that 'the sold out concert at the Fleadh gave us the incentive to bring the music making to our home town. We don't often get a chance to celebrate our music together. All of us have stood on the Town Hall stage at some point in our careers ; now it is time to share with the family and raise the roof !'

Gerry, who recently released his second solo album 'Last Night's Joy' will be joined on stage by his wife Sile Boylan, children Dónal, Siúbhan, Féilimí and, his sister Eilish O'Connor, brother Peter O'Connor, and Finnian's girlfriend Gráinne Smith.

The concert will be a celebration which has been passed down through the O'Connor family by the legendary Rose as well and the songs created of the late Eithne Ní Uallacháin.
