The boys are back in town!

The big gig of this week has to be the return of local Thin Lizzy tribute band Thin Az Lizzy who are all set to pack the AOH on Saturday night.

The band who have had seven hugely successful years touring Ireland, England and parts of Europe decided to call it a day at the latter part of last year, much to the disappointment of their legions of fans around town. But due to the itchy fingers of wanting to get back on stage, the dynamic quartet are set to strap on their instruments on Saturday night for a one off gig for their Dundalk faithful.

Having played all the biggest venues in the country, they have a stagecraft that is as professional as you get, this coupled with one of the tightest rhythm sections around, the twin lead guitarists and the lead vocalist who sounds exactly like the late Philo, will have the AOH packed to capacity.

The boys will play a wide selection of Lizzy and Lynott hits and may even squeeze in a few of their own as well.

The staple diet from the ‘Live and Dangerous’ live album will certainly be evident, but their choice of songs always seem to hit the sentimental note with all metal fans everywhere. Keep an eye out for such classics as ‘Boys Are Back In Town’, ‘Killer On The Loose’, ‘Cowboy Song’, ‘Rosalee’, ‘Still In Love With You’, ‘Yellow Pearl’, ‘Jailbreak’, ‘Dancing In The Moonlight’, ‘Sarah’ and many others in their much awaited return gig.
