Dundalk After Dark

On Saturday night I headed for the Lisdoo where a rather special 84th birthday party was being held for Nancy Neary from Dromiskin and there to make sure she had a fantastic time were daughter Anne and sons Paddy, John, Noel, Brendan and Gerard and a huge collection of their family and relations.

I wasn't too long in the door when I met up with grandson Niall Treanor from Silverbridge who was with Nancy's great granddaughter Katie and told me it was a lovely night, great food, great crack and now it was time to go home and to tell wife Suzanne and son Patrick they had missed an excellent night.

Not too far away I then got talking to Yvonne Neary from Dromiskin who was with husband Brendan and son Robert who was with his girlfriend Aine Martin from Drumcondrath who told me they'd had a lovely meal and wanted to wish all the best to Nancy for a fantastic night.

I then got a quick word with Aine and Robert who were enjoying the evening along with Eamonn Neary and Lorna Kerr both from Darver who assured me the night was just getting better and better.

After this I headed over for a quick word with Caroline and Noel Neary from Walterstown who were having a right old time of it with Amanda Nero originally from Sweden but now with Mark Neary in Dromiskin and they told me it was a really lovely meal and the celebrations were only getting going.

Not too far away I caught up with Nancy's son Paddy Neary from Dromiskin who was with partner Ann Grimes from Ardee ad they said the night was a huge success and Nancy was certainly up for making the best of her birthday celebrations.

After speaking to Paddy, I met brother John who was with Aine, Mark, Laura, Conor and Amanda who were all delighted to be there and wanted to make sure that Nancy had a fantastic night with her family.

Another brother enjoying the party was Noel from Darver who was with wife Caroline, son Eamonn and girlfriend Laura Kerr who were up for making it a real night to remember.

Yes, I did manage a few words with brother Gerard from Dromiskin who ws with Angela, Rebecca and Lea who was accompanied by Dan Finley and they wanted to wish all the best to Nancy on her big night.

After this I got a word with Denise, Ciaran, Anne and Tommy Treanor from Glassdrummond who were all there to make sure the birthday girl had a lovely night and were certainly enjoying the proceeding when I caught up with them.

Finally, before I departed, I got a word with brother and sister Mark and Laura Neary from Dromiskin who had a fantastic night with the family and were delighted that Granny had a great night too.
