Setanta in concert

To mark their 40th Anniversary, Dundalk's Setanta Choir are presenting an evening of song and entertainment. Once again, tenor Eugene Ginty will be joining them and the night promises to be one to remember as they perform a programme of much loved songs.

The concert takes place on October 21st at 7.30pm in the the Crowne Plaza Hotel.

Dundalk Simon Community is seeking volunteers to work in their second hand shop in Yorke Street on Saturdays from 10 am to 2 pm. Duties include: clothes sorting and pricing; cleaning; till operating; customer service and recycling.

Anyone interested should contact 042 933 9583 or email info@dundalksimon.ie

In The Argus of 24 April, we published a report from Dundalk District Court where Farrell Corrway (35) faced charges of possessing child pornography. Bail conditions incorrectly included that the defendant reside at 10 Clos Aodhan, Saltown, Dundalk. We have been contacted by Brendan Bradley, who has lived at that address for many years, and we wish to make it clear that neither he nor his address has any connection whatsoever with Farrell Corrway or with the charges. We are happy to correct the record.
