The newly established Dundalk Photo Factory is presenting its debut exhibition 'Realigning' in the County Museum, Jocelyn Street.
Dundalk Photo Factory is a collective which aims to promote conceptual photography in the North East. It plans to create outlets and an environment to help graduate photographers emerge into the art photography world.
Work by Stephen Duffy, Ciaran Dunbar and Brian Morris is featured in the exhibition which opened on Tuesday night.
The guest speaker was Professor Paul Seawright, Head of Belfast School of Art at the University Of Ulster, a highly celebrated photographer who has exhibited globally.
A big tribute band festival in aid of St Luke's Cancer Hospital and the Typhoon Haiwan Appeal is set to take place at Dundalk Stadium over St Patrick's weekend.
The Stadium will be rocking over with an amazing line-up of Ireland's top tribute bands, includign Supernaut (Black Sabbath), Zepraphonic (Led Zeppelin), Paper Plane (Status Quo), Negative Creeps (Nirvana), Master of Pulpits (Metallica), Nola (Down).
The event is being organised by Bad Penny Promotions in association with Midland Motorcycle Club (Luke The Biker).
It takes place on Saturday, March 15, with the first band on stage at 4 p.m.
