On Thursday night I headed for Coláiste Rís where a huge crowd was gathering to see the pupils head off to the Westenra Hotel in Monaghan for their Graduation Ball. It was a beautiful evening for the Debs who were all looking exceptionally well as the sun shone down on York Street.

I wasn't too long there when I caught up with Tom Cowling from Castlebellingham who was on his best behaviour because he was being taken by Maoliosa Kelley from Bellewsbridge Road who were looking forward to an epic night.

Looking really well in his blue suit was Ify Kwelele from Rockfield Manor who told me that he was going with the rest of the lads and was looking forward to a nice respectable night.

He was joined by Kieran Dollard from Market Street who was in great form and couldn't wait to see the lads as they arrived.

After this I met up with Niamh Ni Chuile from Manydown Close who was bringing Andrew Gavin from Drogheda and they were looking well and ready to party.

Not too long later I then got a word with Kieran McKenna from Fr. Murray Park who told me it was definitely going to be a Boys Night Out and he couldn't wait. I then met his parents Paddy and Fiona McKenna from Fr. Murray Park who told me they were there to see him off, but didn't expected to be up to see him home!

I headed over for a quick chat with Aishling McCaughley from Muirhevnamor who told me she was on the arm of Conor Dunne from Ashbrook who was having a laugh with Joseph Uhunamunre from Rock Road who told me he's be joining up with his partner in crime Ify later on to really get the night going.

Two lads who were looking extremely well in their suits were Yan Petrouskyy from Saltown and Yuriy Pyts from Sutton Court who were in form for a party with all their classmates.

Not too long later I then got talking to Aaron Whearty from The Quay who was there with his sister Megan in a stunning purple dress who was being taken by Jordan Webb from Muirhevnamor and they couldn't wait to get on the bus and get the adventure under way.

After this I caught up with Brandon Kennedy from Faughart who had brought Georgia Hawkins from England who were thinking of a quiet night, eh not really.

I then headed over for a chat with two ladies who were looking stunning and they were Aoife Hand from Muirhevnamor who was bringing Molly McShane from Dromiskin who told me they were out for a mad one and the boys would only slow them down!

Making my way through the crowds I got a quick word with Colleen Ballantine from Castletown Road who was with Conor McGeeney from The Quay who were all prepared for a long night of fun.

Not too long later I got talking to Jane Callan from Louth Village who had brought Jamie Clarke from Stonetown who were sporting their pink dress and pink tie combo.

After this I headed over for a quick word with Sean Thompson from Kilcurry who was with Erin McCabe from Maple Close who were looking really well and said that they are both at the school so effectively no one was taking anyone! They were there with Ryan Coburn from Kilcurry with Emma Duffy from O'Hanlon Park who just said 'look out Monaghan town'.

Making my way through the crowds I got a quick word with Lauren Watkins and James Shevlin both from The Quay who were on for a night of it with Aubrey Moore from Ardee and Keith Crosby from The Quay who assured me it was going to be anything but a quiet debs.

I headed over for a chat with Lara Williams original from South Africa but now living in Chapel Street who had brought ex Marist man Eamon Crawford from Kilkerley who said he'd be on his best behaviour, yea right!

Next I met up with Cian McCrave from Carrick Road who brought Lauren Gray from Bay Estate who were dressed to impress and ready to party.

Not too long later I had the pleasure of talking to Megan Hearty from Avenue Rod who was on the arm of Jack Brodigan from Shore Road who were looking very well and told me it certainly wasn't going to be a quiet night.

Next I got a quick word with Yuliya Dmytryshyn from Castleross who was looking extremely well in her dress and said she was on Girls Night Out and didn't need anyone who was going to slow her down.

Just arrived was Patrick Malone from Faughart who had brought Anna Duffy from Blackrock who looked stunning in her green dress and they were ready for a major night of fun.

Two ladies who were looking really well were Niamh Morrow and Cianagh Lindsay both from Muirhevnamor who were ready to party and said it'd be Diet Cokes all night long (or something!) and eventually told me they were there with Jordan Lee and Jamie Mulligan both from Muirhevnamor who were over having a laugh with the rest of the lads.

After this I got talking to Emmet Kirk and Clodagh Kneel from Kilkerley whom when I asked them if it was going to be an epic night replied 'sounds like a plan'.

Finally, before I departed I got talking to Luke Murphy from Dromiskin who had been brought by Sarah Cosgrove from Blackrock and Luke said he'd be on his best behaviour and a true gentleman, but may find time to let loose and party!
