Choirs bring hills alive with music
The hills will be alive with the sound of music this weekend as the Carlingford Choral Festival sees ten choirs arriving for concerts in venues and on the streets throughout the village.
This year's festival gets underway with a concert in St Michael's Church on Friday evening at 7.30pm.
Saturday starts with a performance at Slate Rock, Sliabh Foy at 11am, followed by an outdoor performance in the village at 3pm. The choirs get together for a concert in the Heritage Centre that evening at 7pm.
Sunday morning will see choirs performing at Mass in churches in Carlingford and Omeath. They will parade though the village at 4pm before their final concert in the Heritage Centre at 5pm.
