Kouri Richins, 33, is currently charged with the murder of her husband, Eric, 39, in Utah. He died last year after a suspected poisoning, where five times the lethal dose of fentanyl was found in his body.

But in a bizarre plot twist, and before the murder charge, Kouri went on Utah television to speak about a new book she had written to help her children deal with grief.

Now, all the events leading up to and following Eric's death are making headlines in the US as Kouri awaits a detention hearing this Friday. Presenter Siobhán is joined by Sunday Independent columnist, Sarah Caden, to find out more about this dark and curious tale.
