The Real Health Podcast: Life Lessons with Sonya Lennon
Sonya Lennon is a woman who wears many hats. Mother of twins, broadcaster, stylist, fashion designer and an entrepreneur, she’s done it all.
This week as part of Real Health’s Life Lessons series, Sonya joins Karl to talk about the highs and lows of her career to date and all the things she learned along the way.
While many will know Sonya as one of the hosts of RTE’s Off the Rails, Sonya says taking the job wasn’t the clear yes some may think it was.
“I wasn't sure that it was the direction to take because I'd been a very established stylist. I'd been working in TV commercials and music videos. I had a lovely life travelling all over the world and coming together with a group of creative people and clients and loved my job. So, I was turning my back on that by going into RTÉ to present Off the Rails...I kind of figured that an opportunity like that doesn't come around twice [and] I had a responsibility to rise to it and take the risk, I suppose.
We also discuss how Sonya keeps on top of her busy schedule, overcoming failure and how she factors health and wellness into her day.
