New judgment of Paris reveals a person, not just a gossip queen
Paris Hilton has been hitting the headlines again, but this time it's for the right reasons, writes Sophie Donaldson
I've written about Paris Hilton on three occasions in the past six months - which is three times more than I would have thought necessary in 2017. But as it turns out, this could be her comeback year.
In May, fashion bible W Magazine gave her a lengthy feature and now Marie Claire has followed suit within its esteemed September issue, no less.
The latest piece charts Hilton's reinvention from trashy LA enfant terrible to self-made (well, kind of) mogul. Journalist Irin Carmon accompanied her for part of the promotional tour for her latest perfume, Gold Rush, which is part of a fragrance empire that claims it has grossed more than $2bn worldwide.
