Workers' pensions shouldn't be targeted
If Dick Keane (Letters, May 10) voiced his opposition to the levy on the pension funds of private sector workers, then he would have my support.
Unfortunately he seems to give tacit support to this measure and simply bemoans the fact that public sector workers appear to be exempt. This ignores two realities:
(A) This pension levy is an unfair attack on the hard-earned savings of workers. Many have seen their pension provision already reduced due to the greed and mismanagement of private sector companies.
