Why future is All Black for Ireland

• Ireland has been playing international rugby since 1875, the year prior to Custer dropping precious points to the Sioux in a deadly away fixture at Little Big Horn.

On Saturday, Ireland lined out for its 619th full international and its 27th match against New Zealand since 1905, a depressing 107 years amounting to 25 defeats and one draw, recorded in 1973 at Lansdowne Road.

Following on from a credible performance in the second test at Christchurch, I expected our players to at least put in a good performance for the final test at Hamilton.
