If you believe Enda Kenny and Bertie Ahern, it appears that the Irish people were responsible for the financial crash in this country. If that is so, why has there been so much time and money wasted on a Banking Inquiry? In one of his many moments of comical hysteria, Mr Kenny declared at the Davos version of the Galway tent, that the Irish people went mad. And Bertie Ahern, who was supposed to be the manager of the country at that time, is blaming Mary and Joe Soap for it all.

Of course, the Irish people are well aware of who is to blame.

In reality, both Enda and Bertie could be considered right to a degree, as too many people overly extended themselves, thinking that the merry go-round would never come to a sudden halt.
