While bosses are paid €130,000, charities won't get my refund

I view with reservation the call from a number of charities to consider donating some, if not all, of the water charges refund money to a worthy cause.

I, like many, have some serious concerns regarding the running costs and salaries associated with some of these charities. Recent disclosures in the media have only increased these concerns.

It would appear that the salaries of many of the CEOs running at least some charities are well in excess of €130,000, which by any stretch is hard to justify.
