We need more than inspiration
READING Martina Devlin's article on May 20 one would think that all our problems stem from the fact that the Taoiseach "is such a woeful communicator". All we need to solve our problems, according to Ms Devlin, are "persuasive leaders to inspire us".
Running the country is thus reduced to having a few smooth- talking celebrities who can go on TV on occasion to "inspire us".
There are serious problems to be solved in this country but their solution has little to do with the Taoiseach's real or imagined inability to communicate.
