• Having read Billy Keane's article this week, I am amazed that a writer with so many column inches in a national daily, should be a purveyor of such a popular misconception and untruth as: "Homosexuality is still a sin in the eyes of the church".

When did one's sexuality become a sin? My understanding is that the Seventh Commandment applies to all and is about behaviour, regardless of whether one is homosexual or heterosexual.

Could you reasonably expect "the church" to deny this?

When truth and objectivity are lacking in journalism, prejudice flourishes -- something all too common in our media. I expect better.
