Time for Sinn Fein to grow up
• It is with some amusement and great sadness that one listens to and reads the left's repetitious, negative and misinformed points of view on the Stability Treaty -- in particular those of Sinn Fein, People before Profit and the Workers' Party.
We have had to bear with Sinn Fein through its adolescent years in the 1970s when all it believed in was the gun and the ballot box -- more gun than ballot.
Then came its very reluctant conversion to the democratic process, which came not from the heart but from the head. No to Maastricht, No to Nice, No to Lisbon, and now we have to listen to its pontifications on the economy.
