There is just no sense of fair play

NOT a day passes when another apparent injustice is slapped in our faces. I read that a builder was prosecuted for failing to make pension contributions totalling €53,527.34 during the boom times for 170 of his employees. (Irish Independent October 16). Amazingly, the punishment was a fine of just €5,000.

In the same week, ordinary citizens, doing their civic duty by using bottle banks in Co Meath, are imprisoned for littering. There is obviously no sense of decency or fair play among the ruling classes in this country. Sorry for ending abruptly -- the drums have just restarted and I have to start rowing again.
