The truth about motherhood
Level-headed look at suicide
Madam – Ever since Mary-Elaine Tynan's motherhood column in the Living section of the Sunday Independent was recommended to me, I have been reading it religiously.
All too often women are made to feel guilty for having fears and regrets about parenthood, never mind vocalising our occasional desire to be single and childless some days. For that reason, I really enjoy the refreshing honesty and witty style of Ms Tynan's writing. She tells it how it really is: challenging, rewarding and, all too often, exhausting!
