Telling it like it is on anti-Semitism
PAUL Kelly (Letters, February 13) is concerned that the misuse of the term anti-Semitism is an insult to 'responsible' critics of Israel like Colonel Desmond Travers, of the UN fact-finding mission on the Gaza conflict.
Responsible critic? This is the same Col Travers who has publicly claimed that " . . . the number of rockets that had been fired into Israel in the month preceding their operations was something like two."
Not even Hamas denies it rained hundreds of rockets on Israel in the month before the Gaza operation in January 2009.
