TD's behaviour not gentlemanly

If a lawyer still remains obligated to wear a wig and robe when appearing in court, is it really too much to ask that an Irish parliamentarian should also dress appropriately while conducting his or her business in the houses of the Oireachtas?

The refusal of a male TD to wear a tie and jacket in the Dail chamber is not becoming of a gentleman.
