Take a pass

• If 1.1 million travel passes are issued and there are only 460,000 people in the State over the age of 65, then more than half of the recipients are not OAPs.

Assuming that these travel passes are not being issued to children then there is an astonishing 640,000 passes issued to people of employable age.

Who are these lucky folk and how does one join their ranks?
