•There clearly is something going on within EU leaders' heads, either denial or stitch-up, as they try to stuff even more fiscal integration down the throats of ordinary Europeans to save the beloved euro.

Realistically, does Ireland, as an economic entity, have the strength to stay within the euro? Only, it seems, at the destruction of the lives of ordinary people, workers and small businesses.

Is it fair to the people who consistently recognised the dangers of the euro and who voted against the last two treaties as likely to be bad for Ireland to now get no say on the latest treaty changes supposed to solve everything?
