Remembering 9/11

•E Ni Mhuirosa asks how we will remember the 9/11 New York tragedy (Letters, August 30).

I am acutely aware that out of the strong came forth weakness, because the US responded with the killing of an estimated one million people in Iraq and Afghanistan.

There is no evidence to support the line that the "war" has been carried to the enemy, especially when the engine of the madness which was 9/11, resides in Saudi Arabia, a 'friend' of America.

No NATO bombs dropped there, strangely. Let all the dead rest in peace.
