Religious are committed

Greyhounds badly treated

Madam -- Well done to Emer O'Kelly for her excellent article setting out the need to have good discipline in our schools, to engender respect for others in many of our children who do not show consideration and courtesy towards other people.

It is a pity Emer spoils a good thesis by using her script in attacking one or two religious teachers who did not live up to their calling.

The vast majority of religious teachers were and are committed to their twofold vocations. No wonder parents queue up every year to have children enrolled in religious schools. They know where to go when seeking a good education.
