Relax, it's just a TV programme
Maurice Fitzgerald (Letters, October 23), appears to be troubled by TV programmes' presentation and whether they are all they purport to be.
There is a medical term for being overly passionate about such matters, be it concern over "under-dressed" young females on 'The X Factor' or suspecting that contestants on quiz shows know the answers before they are asked. The name of the malady escapes me, but if you have ever had cause to reassure a child that Mary on 'Little House On The Prairie' is not really going blind from scarlet fever in real life, then you get my drift.
