Paul Galvin gets my fashion points
When I first heard the words 'Paul Galvin' and 'fashion column' together my initial thought was: Fail.
What the hell would a Kerry footballer know about fashion? So when his first article was printed, I got 'Weekend' and began to read. I loved its simplicity, and I loved his story telling about the Adidas trainers and going on hunger strike so his mother would pay for them. I also loved how this very masculine guy was saying it was okay to be into fashion.
It was okay to want your clothes to fit well. Paul hit the nail on the head when he said that on most Irish men, nothing fits -- they are drowning in material.
