Passengers not turned away

YOUR article 'Ryanair to turn away passengers who don't print pass' (Jan 19) incorrectly stated that Ryanair was 'discontinuing' its boarding card reissue service and that passengers 'would not be able to pass through security unless they had printed their own passes after checking in online.'

Ryanair has not discontinued the boarding card reissue service.

Ryanair is appealing a Spanish court ruling in relation to this service.

In the unlikely event that this ruling is not reversed we will, at some future date, withdraw the boarding pass reissue service.

Until such time as this appeal is heard the reissue service remains in place and the small number of passengers who fail to print boarding passes, as agreed, may still travel by using this reissue service.
