Palestinian apologists never tell the full story
I'm always interested that Palestinian apologists, like the deputy 'ambassador', expect Israel to revert to its 1967 border (Irish Independent, June 17) without ever mentioning why it strayed beyond those borders in the first place.
As Yussef Dorkham knows, the reason there is a dispute about Israel's borders is because Israel has been invaded by Arab armies, not once but three times, since 1948.
It is also because some Arab countries have proven they cannot be trusted not to do so again or to abide by any treaty that may create a future Palestinian state. It is reasonable Israel has little faith in the word of any Palestinian politician.
