Out of step
• I agree entirely with Victor Feldman's letter in the Irish Independent, entitled 'Irish people won't march'. I believe the reason we don't want to march is that the unions will take over and lead the same march.
The union leaders will talk about the working class, while they themselves are on ministers' salaries. The unions are just an umbrella for the Labour Party, and the majority of people don't want anything to do with either.
The pensioners marched as pensioners with great success. So why don't people of Ireland march for the people of Ireland. It is better to be a lion for a day than a lamb for the next four years.
